Spanish Government Awards for Nerja

The Calidad Turistica Espanola Department of the Spanish Ministry of Tourism has awarded the Nerja beach of Burriana a “Q for Quality” award.

The main criteria for the award was the water and sand quality, safety and services available.

Burriana beach is the largest and most popular beach in the resort, and is easily accessed from all major Nerja Hotels.

There is a wide range of pubs, bars and restaurants on the beach, with the Ayos paella world renown. 

The general atmosphere is laid back and restful. The beach is also popular with local Spanish residents. There is nothing better than spending a day at Burriana beach.
