Well, to tell you the truth, you really cannot avoid getting an apostille unless your paperwork is not being sent to a foreign country. If it’s staying within the same country of its origination, then you won’t need an apostille. Apostilles are only for documents that are to be used overseas. It’s a simple concept, but it really does confuse people. That’s why there’s so many apostille services all over the place. People just don’t want to deal with getting authentications and certifications by themselves. They are right to worry a little about it. If you don’t know what you’re doing, you could get caught in a mess.
