Making a profit with your own electricity

It’s got to the point now where I can’t afford to pay my electricity bill.  As prices seem to rise each month, with no end in sight.  So I started looking at alternative ways to generate electricity solar power is too expensive as the panels costs thousands.  But when power is a very cheap alternative you can she build your own wind turbine and hook it up to your own home electricity system to generate your own power.  Just as stated in the book Earth4 energy guide . This book basically tells you how to build the wind her up and and hook it up to your power system.  You can actually sell the electricity, you don’t use that power grid and make a profit.
