Making a Better Website

I know how to put up a basic website, so that is what I did when I first started my company. However, I really don’t know anything about search engine optimization, so I am thinking I would get a lot more business through my website if I hired a web designer Oakland company to help me out with this. I tried a search to see where my company came up and it was pages back in the search engine listings, which is not at all helpful. I am going to see what I can find out about my options and hire a professional to help.
