Most people don’t know what the Windows registry is, let alone that they have one on their computer that could be the cause of all their problems.  There are many common computer troubles that are associated with a cluttered and corrupted Windows registry.  This happens because many times registry entries are created but never removed.  This happens often when you uninstall software and hardware.  I recommend looking into getting a good Windows XP registry cleaner and running it on a regular basis.  Examples of good cleaners are RegCure and Registry Mechanic.  I personally have used RegCure and have had great results.
