If you’re looking for a low maintenance pet, either for a kid or maybe because you live a busy urban lifestyle, you should seriously consider a pet turtle. Often times, these small reptilian creatures, capable of living in both land and on water, require very little attention and, as such, pet turtle care is as easy as one – two – three. Pretty much, you need only feed them regularly and clean their enclosure. When I was a kid, in fact, I had a pet turtle and it was much easier to care for than any dog, cat, or even fish that I have owned before or since. While I haven’t been able to find mini turtles in recent years I have been searching in recent months for the little critters and I am even considering making a trip across state lines to find them if necessary.
