Learning a Foreign Language is Fun

When I was in school, I really wanted to learn a foreign language. I’m not sure why, because most of the other kids thought that was boring. Not me. Since I live in Texas, I decided I wanted to learn to speak Spanish. I ended up taking two years of high school Spanish, and another 6 semesters of advanced Spanish language studies in college. I don’t regret the time I spent learning Spanish, because I enjoy speaking to native Spanish speakers daily in their own language. There is just something about being bi-lingual that appeals to me. I am hoping to learn another language soon, when I have some more time.
