Last year I was in a very bad motorcycle accident — I was driving down the road during the wintertime and my bike inadvertently hit a pothole and I lost control of it. I skated all over the road, and my bike went out over into the opposite lane of traffic, where it was crushed by an oncoming moving van. Fortunately I was not injured extensively, but my motorcycle was totaled. Fortunately, I had recently contacted an agent for motorcycle insurance in Calgary, and the insurance company was able to reimburse me for the full value of my motorcycle. With that check I was able to go out and buy a brand-new bike — and boy am I glad, because I use that motorcycle every day to travel back and forth to work.
They replaced my bike!
