Playing hooky

I’m supposed to be going to a book launch today. I mean, I should go – it’s not my book but I wrote a couple of pieces for it. But I just don’t feel like being nice to journalists and pretending to like the book when – seriously – I don’t. The end result just didn’t come out like I imagined it would and it smells kinda funky. I don’t think they even printed in eco inks, which would at least be an excuse for the smell.DH is more of a social person that I am. Even so, these days he’d have more fun staying home and counting all the cool domain names he registered while they were cheap. So geeky!
