The UK government’s “scrappage” deal to give you money bak on scrapping your old car and buying a new one isn’t working well according to this morning’s news.
It is a shame as I was thinking about getting rid of my 12 year old Volvo next month using that scheme. But it seems there are a lot of manufacturer discounts already in place that are just as good if not better in order to save money.
So I decided to create a website (and yes, I’m using a GoDaddy promo code 2009! before you ask) that will list the differences in the deals and help you find what the manufacturers are offering compared to the scrappage deal. Hopefully that will help.
