Flags of the World in a Childs Room

Decorating a childs room can be a delightful activity.  There are many cheerful and educational options available.  One idea is to incorporate other cultures to encourage acceptance and diversity.  This can be done with flags of the world!  Many stores sell small flags that can easily be strung together or hung individually.  Pick flags that represent your familys heritage, and tell your child your family’s story.  Teach your child to identify the flags, and to know a little bit about each country.  Who knows, you might learn something too!  Flags are a colorful, easy, and educational way to decorate your child’s room.
