You may not imagine it when you first meet my aunts, but they’re actually ferociously competitive people. They can’t even play snakes and ladders without arguing. They never intend to get into rivalries, but their bellicose hearts wind up taking over every time. Even something like rice becomes a sticking point when my aunts are together. Last year, they wanted to ascertain just who possessed the best rice cooker. Nobody had ever seen so much rice cooked in so many distinct means; it was very impressive. At long last, my first aunt was unanimously declared the winner. The weirdest thing is, none of their families used to eat that much rice.
