Hair loss can be quite daunting for men and women alike. It can sometimes cause a lower self-esteem, even a feeling of being unacceptable in other people’s eyes. It can cause paranoia for some, and at the worst, can lead to depression. Yet, it is a natural fact of life that as we grow older, hair cells will no longer regenerate and thus, baldness will result.
Aging is one of the most common causes of hair loss. There are others who suffer from premature baldness, mostly because they have the genetic predisposition for early hair loss. For some, losing hair may result from non-genetic factors such as a hormonal imbalance, a disease, and most often, stress.
