My wife and I are thinking about File Personal Bankruptcy. Our finances are out of control and the bills just keep piling up. We just decided we were better off filing for bankruptcy. Our bankruptcy lawyer gave us a list of things we should not do before filing for bankruptcy. He said not to rack up any more credit card debt. This does not help things and its best to just cut them up. The lawyer also said not to cash out our retirement accounts. The money is protected and may even be used to pay off any and all debts.
