getting out of debt

If you’re in debt then you’ve probably received all kinds of solicitations and advertisements from debt relief and debt reduction companies telling you how you can get out of debt quickly.  A few years ago I looked into those companies and if you go to one of the non profit companies they can help you, but the trick is that you have to be behind on your credit card payments already and you’re going to trash your credit during the process and I’m talking completely trash it.   Yes, you can use them to get out of debt but don’t expect to be able to get credit in the future.
