Disabling my unnecessary startup programs did not help my slow computer. It still takes too long to load when I turn it on. I do not seem to have a virus, but I am going to run another scan just to be safe. There has to be a way to increase startup speed that I do not know. I will continue to research this problem on the internet. I would hate to have to format the hard drive because I do not know where my software is. I put it somewhere for safe keeping and I cannot seem to remember where that is.
