Last Wednesday afternoon I went golfing with my friend Larry. We hadn’t played in over three months because he was going through a lot of personal problems. He told me on the golf course that he had nearly lost his mind because of the bad mortgage loan he originally got from his bank. He told me last week he’d gone in to a different bank and gotten a home mortgage refinance. He said that he was charged only one point and that there was no origination fee. He said that he should have gotten a conventional mortgage when he first bought his home.
