Resealable Poly Bag Protects Vase with Great Sentimental Value

After my mother passed away, it was my job to move her belongings out of her home.  She owned some beautiful figurines and glassware and I wanted family members to choose something as a remembrance of her.  I invited them to come to the house and pick out what they wanted.  My sister lives in Chicago and was not able to make the trip here.  She asked me about a small vase she would like to have and wanted to know if I could send it to her.  I was reluctant to do this, but couldn’t see any other way to get the vase to her.  When I was at the post office I inquired about the best way to protect the vase.  The postal clerk said she recommends resealable poly bags for shipping delicate objects.  I purchased one, packed the vase for shipping, and sent it the next day.  My sister called five days later to tell me the vase arrived without a mark on it.  She said it was so nice to have something of Mom’s in her home.
