Key chains, water bottles and so much more

You are pretty hard pressed not to be able to come up with some sort of creative outlet to spread the word. You can print your name, logo, etc. on just about anything from pens, key chains, and coffee mugs to t-shirts, mouse pads and frisbees. I have been given the task of finding a few options for creative marketing and have been blown away by all the options there are out there. I actually feel a bit overwhelmed by it all and am having a hard time trying to pick just one item to use for our promotion. I need a little help on make a good choice. If you have any suggestions on what items make a good promo, please let me know.
