A Cyclist Needs Extra Time to Stop

When my husband bought his motorcycle last year his biggest worry was having an accident. As with any state you can find motorcycle and bicycle accidents in Maryland just like anywhere else. The biggest thing when riding a motorcycle or bicycle is watching out for the traffic around you. A cyclist always has to keep an eye out and keep guard from other drivers pulling stupid stunts like pulling out in front of someone. A cyclist can’t put on the brakes like other vehicles. If the brakes are quickly pressed then more than likely the cyclist will lose control. They need extra time to come to a complete stop.
