In some ways, the process of a long distance auto purchase isn’t that much different from buying a used car locally. For example, a local purchase usually requires the services of an automobile inspection service or a mechanic. The same is true for a purchase from far away. The only difference would be if the buyer is a mechanic who can accurately assess the condition of the car. In most cases, the only difference is that the buyer has to buy a plane ticket to the location of the car in order to drive it home. But it’s worth it if a particular used car is hard to find.
