Dish Network recently lost out on a partnership with AT&T. For several years, the monstrous phone company has offered satellite TV service to customers across its service area. But starting in February of 2009, AT&T will start selling DirectTV satellite service instead. For Dish Network, it means trouble as they now do not have a major resale partner. On the other hand, DirectTV has all but locked up the telephone company market, with agreements now in place with Verizon, AT&T and Qwest communications.
